According to information which was distributed, Russian secret services want to kill Saakashvili and to appoint a Russian puppet. According to many political analysts, it is precisely with this aim in mind that the Russians invaded Georgia and rushed to Tbilisi during the Georgian-Ossetian conflict. However, a timely intervention by the United States and Europe foiled Russian plans, and now the Russians prepare the assassination.
